Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Due to pandemic, we sanitize every item before shipping. Please understand that we cannot resell returned items as new. Items returned from customers are not considered new. Unless otherwise specified, items could be returned within 30 days, but there will be a 25% or $10 (whichever is greater) fee. If the customer files a false claim, i.e., item not as described, doesn’t seem authentic, doesn’t work, defective, etc., a 50% fee will be deducted from the refund. Customer is also responsible for shipping costs. Items that have been accessible to pets as well as items with odors or signs of wear will not qualify for refunds. Missing parts, i.e., retail tags, gift receipts, dust bags, gift bags, gift boxes, etc., as well as not following return instructions, will be subject to additional deductions.

We sell only genuine merchandise; we do not purchase from 3rd parties. We do not sell counterfeits, fakes, or knock-offs. If you have any doubts about your item, you can verify its authenticity at any manufacturer’s store or outlet. If this option is not available and you have a reason to believe that your item is not genuine, you must file a police report before returning the item. The police report must be filed by the original customer; we cannot guarantee 3rd party transactions. Without a copy of the police report, return as “doesn’t seem authentic” will not be accepted. Users claiming that American Starlex, Inc. sells counterfeit merchandise will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

If any part of the order is missing, you must file a police report and provide a copy to us before returning the item; a copy of the police report will enable us to file an insurance claim with the USPS. If the copy of the police report is not provided, it will be assumed that “missing” parts are stolen by the recipient and a police report will be filed against the aforementioned recipient. Refund deduction will also reflect the value of the value of the missing parts.

All leather goods have blemishes; scratches, discoloration, bumps, creases, etc. Sometimes they are microscopic and not visible to the naked eye, but sometimes they are visible. We inspect every item upon receipt. If we receive an item that has a blemish noticeable from 3+ feet at any light angle, the item is returned to the manufacturer. If there is a minor blemish noticeable from less than 3 feet or at a specific light angle, it is considered acceptable. However, you can request an additional inspection (free of charge) to make sure there are absolutely no visible blemishes. If you do not request an additional inspection and find a blemish upon arrival, return as “not as described” or “defective” will not be accepted. Foil accents on leather, especially on pebbled leather, are not designed to be permanent. The foil will come off protuberant areas and remain in sunken areas. The “flaking” or “shadowy” effect could occur during the manufacturing process and could be seen on brand new items; this is not a defect. Soft bags are shipped folded by the manufacturers; it may take a while for a bag to take its original shape. Stuffing the bag with something soft, i.e., folded clothes, will speed up the process. Unstructured bags, i.e., reversible totes, do not hold shape.

All items come with the original manufacturer’s warranty. We check every functional item, i.e., zippers, snaps, locks, etc. If there is an issue with a functional item during warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced by the manufacturer.

If delivery delay is caused by a carrier, we will file an insurance claim upon customer’s request. If the item arrives damaged, we may require a signed affidavit stating that fact to collect on the insurance claim. The customer will not request a refund before the claim is resolved. “NWB” stands for “new with dust bag”; “NIB” stands for “new in box”.

We understand that the process of reading through a long list of terms and conditions is very annoying, but we had to post it to be protected from unscrupulous users. To return the item, please complete the following steps:
· Contact us for RMA#
· Mail unused item (with tags attached, if applicable), preferably in original box/package; if you kept the item in a smoking place, it was accessible to pets, or has any odor, the return will be rejected
· Include a check for 25% of item cost or $10 (whichever is greater) made out to American Starlex, Inc.
· You will receive full refund via original payment method
· To combat fraud, refunds will be issued to original purchaser ONLY; refunds over $50 may require government-issued photo ID
