Booth Details, Discounts, and Policies Return to booth

Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Booth overview

Rummage Rampage is primarily set up to handle local sales (located in the Phoenix, AZ area) where items are picked up in person. HOWEVER, we do have many items ready to ship and are willing to accommodate whenever possible. When looking at one of our items, if you see shipping information included in the listing, then that item is good to go, ready to ship, just itching to make its way to your front door. If no shipping information is provided and you would like the item shipped, just ask. We will find a way to get the object of your desire into your hands if at all possible, and it’s almost always possible. We say “almost” because, for example, we can’t ship the Brooklyn Bridge. And if you see the Brooklyn Bridge listed for sale here, please alert us, because someone has hacked our account.

Shipping policy

Single-item purchases, other than media mail (typically used for books, tapes, etc.), normally ship within one to three business days. That being said, if your purchase is time-sensitive (such as a gift for a specific occasion), please let us know and we’ll do our darn’dest to get it to you right away.

Media mail items or purchases that require a little extra time and attention to pack may take a bit longer. Likewise with items for which we just don’t happen to have appropriate packing materials on hand. Again, though: If you’re in a hurry for your item, please let us know and we will work that out.

Speaking of packing materials…

USPS Priority Mail boxes are free, and thus we use them often. However, we aren’t able to keep Priority Mail boxes of every size and shape on hand at all times, so if you suspect that your item(s) would be better shipped in a certain flat-rate box, please feel free to ask about that, but understand that it isn’t always possible (unless you’re willing to accept a slight delay while we track one down). Non-Priority-Mail boxes (aka “just boxes”) and bubble-mailer envelopes, on the other hand, are not free, which is a bummer, but we make up for that by re-using and recycling boxes and envelopes as often as possible. If Priority Mail is no indicated in your purchase, expect that you may receive your item in a re-used box. Or a recycled envelope. Or a gift bag left over from a kid’s birthday party and re-folded in a way that will satisfy the mail carriers (okay, I only had to do this once).

Other things that aren’t free: Packing peanuts, tape, bubble wrap, etc. Oh, and the time it takes us to pack and ship an item. With that in mind, please understand that some items may have a nominal handling fee built into the advertised shipping price. As stated in our listings, all items are available for pickup. If you wish to have an item shipped to you, we are more than happy to do that for the shipping price offered, unless you’ve made arrangements with us for something different. And if you’d like to do just that – arrange for something different – don’t hesitate to ask! All we request is that you do so prior to making your purchase. Y’know, just so we’re all on the same page, so to speak. ;)

Some items, such as furniture or large pictures, cannot be shipped.

Return policy

Returns are accepted if an item is significantly misrepresented in the listing, and in such cases the cost of return shipping will be reimbursed. If a special situation should arise, please contact me. I’m nice. :)
