2. I use no supplies from out of the USA!
3. I have received no supplies since early February. Most of my jewelry supplies have been in my workshop for years.
3. I am still taking orders and shipping as usual!
4. I live in El Dorado a rural community in the mountains of Central California.
5. No one in my household is sick.
6. As a precaution I will disinfect any new supplies I receive.
7. I always wash my hands and clean the jewelry orders before they are being shipped! (Even before the Coronavirus)
8. I will ship out orders as usual.
9. I have no control over shipping companies shipping times or delays, USPS, UPS, FedEx etc.
10. I suggest washing your hands after opening the outer shipping package for your comforter and protection.

Gaia
Gaia or Gaea, known as Earth or Mother Earth (the Greek common noun for “land” is ge or ga). She was an early earth goddess and it is written that Gaia was born from Chaos, the great void of emptiness within the universe, and with her came Eros.

Gaia being the primordial element from which all the gods originated was worshiped throughout Greece. In Roman mythology she was known as Tellus or Terra.

Gaia is associated with posperity, fruitfullness, harvests and abundance. May our jewelry made from Gaia’s natural elements bring these qualities into your life.

The materials we use in making our custom jewelry are natural, our Arrowheads are hand-napped, our custom copper jewelry are made from recycled materials, our products are “nickle free”. We support Fair Trade and so does our suppliers. Our business cards, gift certificates, packaging and shipping materials are made from recycled materials.

Mary Ann’s Story (Her-story)
One of my earliest and fondest memories are of my “Mi Ma” (Meaning Grandmother and whome I received my Cherokee heritage on my father’s side of the family.) She patiently, gently and with support taught me to cross stich at the age of four. While I attribute much of my inspiration to my Mi Ma; I also give as much credit to my mother as she made all of my clothes when I was young and with my aunt they made all of mine and my cousins dolls clothes.) From these early influences I became hooked and have been involved in making things by hand since.

Sewing, crotching, machrame, ceramics, just to name a few were some of the projects of interest when I was younger. After I started our family with my wonderful husband of 37 year to date, I had a cake decorating business and as a hobby I started doing photography which is something that has come in very handy, as all of the photographs of our jewelry are taken by me.

I started designing jewelry after my daughter-in-law came home one day with a pair of beautiful Turquoise earrings (love turquoise) that a client gave to her as a “thank you”, and I thought “I can do that”. So I went right down to the local bead shop, fell in love and started creating that night, and I was up most of that night and many others since. Addicted!

Two weeks later, while I was having lunch with my sister, she made the comment that as Shop Steward for Sacramento Yacht Club she needed custom nautical jewelry for the store, not knowing that I was making jewelry. (Wow, what about that timing?) I reached into my purse and said, "Guess what I have been doing? I showed her some jewelry I had made and the rest is my-story. (Not his-story.) I was encouraged by Sacramento Yacht Club Customers and others to open up a shop online and a Facebook page. I am so glad that I have. I so enjoy creating custom jewelry and this shop, but even more so the wonderful friends around the world that I have made along the way and look forward to making many more.

A little on Ken’s story. (His-story)
As a young man drawing, painting and sculpting were some things I enjoyed. As an adult woodworking became my artestic outlet for many years. I spent many of my weekends and vacations hiking, backpacking and camping in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Oceans, lakes, rivers, mountains and nature are all things I try to bring into my work. It is enjoyable to me as I hope it is to other’s as well.

I have been lucky enough to be married 37 years to a wonderful and beautiful Cherokee/Irish woman, I am inspired by her and my Native California.

Welcome to our online shop. Please come in and feel free to look around. Everything here is one of a kind – ready to ship. We do take custom orders and will duplicate an item with the same or similar materials that we can get at the time. Our hand-hammered custom copper jewelry is made from recycled copper, and all of our arrowheads are hand-napped. We believe we all are the stewards of our planet Earth, and so from our business cards to our packaging/shipping materials we use all recycled materials and encourage others to do what they can to recycle, reuse and support those who do. In addition to recycling and reusing we support Fair Labor Trade all of the companies we do business with support Fair Labor Practices. All of our items come gift-wrapped for you or as a gift for a loved one. Payment

All orders must be paid for within 3 days of purchase date. Items will be shipped within 1-3 business days “after payment process is completed”. As stated in Bonanza’s Policies and Terms of Use.

Osborn Jewelry featuring Gaia’s Essence accepts Credit Card Payments through PayPal, we also accept Money Orders.

If you don’t have (or want) a Paypal Account and want to pay with a Credit Card you can still choose the Paypal Option, then click the “pay now” button. Once at the Paypal Page, click “don’t have a Paypal Account” at the bottom of the page. Click continue and proceed from there.

Shipping

Items will be shipped within 1-3 business days “after payment process is completed”. Orders within the US usually take 3-5 business days to arrive, and international orders usually require 1-3 weeks (these times are not exact, and depend on the mail service and customs practices of the specific country). We ship First Class for free, if you wish Express/Priority shipping can be arranged at an additional cost to the buyer.

PLEASE NOTE:
International Buyers: Please be aware that some countries may charge “customs fees”; buyers are responsible for paying their own “customs fees”. When shipping outside of the United States, I use US customs forms as required. These must be filled out accurately. I must comply with international shipping laws, and must declare all items as purchases; therefore, I cannot check the “gift” box on customs forms. Please bear any possible “customs fees” in mind when purchasing.

Buyers are responsible for payment of “Customs and Duty Taxes”.

Osborn Jewelry featuring Gaia’s Essence is not responsible for goods that are damaged or lost in the hands of the Postal Service. The only way to make sure your purchase is traceable through the Postal Service is to “insure your package”, buyers to pay for the Postal Service’s “insurance”.

If you wish, please select the “registered mail” option, which is “insured” and has a “tracking number”, it is the only way your item can be replaced if lost on transit. Buyer to pay for “registered mail option” at additional costs.

All items are shipped in recycled bubble envelopes and boxes to ensure your item/items arrive unharmed. We believe we all are the stewards of our planet Earth, and so from our business cards to our packaging/shipping materials we use all recycled materials and encourage others to do what they can to recycle, reuse, take care of our planet, and support those who do.

If you order multiple items for gifts, please let us know in the ‘notes to seller’ at checkout so we can package them up individually, otherwise we will package them together. “Ships With” discount applies to multiple items shipped together to one address.

If you wish, we can ship the gift items to another address. We will also send a card with the gift/gifts, please let us know what the occasion is, and provide the name, address of the person the gift is being shipped to in the “notes to seller” at check out. Wah Doh (Thank you)!

We do not recommend our jewelry for small children as there are small pieces to our custom jewelry. Please use your own judgement.

NOTE: All of our Ear Wires are made with Surgical Steel, Sterling Silver, Gold and Hypo-Allergenic Metals and is as noted in the description of our products. My ears are sensitive to some ear wires, so I test each new ear wires I create or purchase on my own ears first. If you have any problems please let me know. Mary Ann

Return policy

Refunds and Exchanges

We want nothing more than you to love your purchase and have a positive shopping experience with us, we try to provide accurate photo’s and descriptions of our products, we also triple check our prouducts before they are shipped out, but If you are not happy with what you received, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to arrange an exchange or in store credit. Our custom jewelry may be exchanged in unused, undamaged condition, and in the original packaging with the store tag still attached for an in store credit. If no contact within 7 days of receipt of the order there will be no exchange. The exception to this is if you select the “ship to other” option as a gift then the exchange time can be worked out in a resonable time for all parties, but the same policies apply as to the item be exchanged in unused condition and in original packaging. Our custom jewelry may be exchanged one time only and the item will be in approximate value to original purchase price.

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to our shipping error or a defective product. Experience with the US Postal Service has been extremely reliable, but it is a wise idea to return the item with “Delivery Confirmation”. We are not responsible for returns that are lost being returned back to us, nor are we responsible for the shipping costs. Please package your exchange carefully, in the original packaging if possible and if you are returning an order for an exchange, please let us know when you ship so that we can expect the package and process your exchange in a timely fashion. Due to the custom nature of our products there will be No refunds, but we do offer in store credit.
