Due to the inherent nature of vintage and antique items, condition descriptions are subjective. We do our best to describe the condition of our items as carefully as possible and we post several photos of the actual item.  Photos are magnified to show details but we also include measurements for your review.

We do not attempt to clean, polish, repair or otherwise alter our items and they may show a patina consistent with age. We sell our vintage items as acquired, as is. 

Age/era is an estimation but represented to the best of our knowledge based on provenance or acquisition time frame  

MINT - Like new. Highly unusual to see this classification as by very definition antique and vintage items have either been handled or displayed. Additionally, there is the natural process of time-wear, dust or fading.  

EXCELLENT - Outstanding condition. The best grade you can reasonably expect for antique/vintage item. No wear that is unusual for its age.

VERY GOOD - We place most of our vintage and antique items in this category as most antique and vintage items have some signs of use consistent with age. It may have a small dent, ding, chip, light scuffing, yellowing, or plating loss. Any signs of wear would be minor compared to the overall integrity of the piece and would not detract from its beauty.  More significant signs of wear on the back or inside of a piece may be included in this category.

GOOD - Perfectly acceptable, but signs of use described above are more significant and readily visible. May be missing a part or be broken, will be noted to the best of our ability.  FAIR - Wear is severe and will need significant restoration or may be used for parts or scrap.
